Discover that back bends don’t have to involve bending. These moves are more accurately called spine extensions and are safe and satisfying. Release the restriction of poor posture through a sequence that opens the chest, shoulders and back, joyfully master well-supported back extensions that open the heart as well as experience a progressive gentle deep-stretch-deep-release approach, to resolve chronic tensions, strengthen energy-level focus and stimulate your mood.

This is deep-healing gentle yoga, designed to de-stress, nourish, and release unconsciously held “stuff.” Treat yourself to this layered approach, restoring resilience with an innovative restorative pose. Next we’ll release stiffness and physical blockage with gentle yoga movement stimulating the nourishing flow of circulation and energy. Finally we’ll enter into the profound meditative experience of Yoga Nidra. While you completely relax, your attention will be guided throughout all the levels of your multi-dimensional being to release repressed toxic experiences and beliefs from your subconscious realm.


Rudy Peirce, M.A., E-RYT500, YACEP, AYT has studied and practiced yoga for over 35 years. His passion is guiding self-empowering, mindful, deep-release yoga that is accessible to beginners and inspiring to experienced practitioners.

Certified since 1983, he has been a faculty member, teacher-trainer, and mentor at The Kripalu School of Yoga, in Stockbridge, MA since 1988.

His popular 4 CD set, The Gentle Series, is well known for supporting regular personal practice.
